Feature Request - html compression

#1 Post by cmann » 2010-02-20 20:36

What if Filezilla were to check the extension of every file you upload and if the file is a html, javascript or css file,
then Filezilla will automatically run it through some kind of compression script in the background that will remove comments,
white space etc. and upload that version instead.
It could possibly even do php and other server side scripting files as well.

There would of course be some kind of menu option to enable/disable this feature.

FileZilla is an FTP client. It will never touch your data (except line-endings in ASCII type).
No support requests over PM! You will NOT get any reply!!!
FTP connection problems? Please read Network Configuration.

But why not?
It would be a very helpful feature.
