Feature Request: Schedule Downloads

I would love it if I could schedule downloads.

I have a server and I get capped by my ISP for downloading too much in peak time. The capping last's until 1am.

I would love this because then I could set it to start downloading at 1 then I wouldn't have to wait till I got up to start it and then I would get much more downloading done.

Sorry if there is already a way of doing this or if it has already been requested...

By the way...credit to the coders of FileZilla for all the hard work you do!

Not with Filezilla. Use a scriptable command line based FTP like lftp.

Automatical, scripted and scheduled transfers won't come. Filezilla is a FTP client intended to be operated by a human.

However, do you know AutoIt?

It is a very simple thing to use but ok.

Many FTP programs allow scheduling which allow users to take advantage of off peak downloads. If FZ could have this feature it would become far more popular imo.

After reading a thread I understand that scheduling is not gonna happen, though it's a shame, I could use it to backup data on some remote servers.

On the other hand I must thank you for very good wiki page. I spent some time reading it and found it very informative and easy to understand.
