I am receiving files from another computer by an automated process. It sends a file and if it is received it disconnects. If the remote computer "thinks" the file has not been successfully transferred it then sends a test message and then repeats the process over the next several logons until it gets some kind of confirmation of success. When I run SERV-U the remote computer does not send the test messages and somehow gets confirmation of successful transfer. In other words, it works. When I run Filezilla it does not. the test messages are piling up. Any idea what info SERV-U is sending regarding transfer that Filezilla does not? I cannot glean anything by looking at the SERV-U and Filezilla logs. The Filezilla log in fact indicates that the message was received and it was, it is sitting in the remote client's home directory. The file transfer works, it just isn't sending the desired confirmation to the client.
If there is something you know of, can Filezilla be tweaked to send the same success info?
