How does one apply this patch? I really want to use this, I dislike having that local section there. Dragging and dropping has always worked simplest, so no need for that panel!

Re: FTP Server slow all of a sudden

Nope, I went through the speed limits as well, tried changing them to something liek 4kb/s and it throttled me, but when I go to unlimited, or even 50kb/s I am stuck at 12.8kb/s.

I tried doing a few downloads at the same time, they're all stuck at 12.8kb/s

Re: FTP Server slow all of a sudden

I only have one FTP server on that machine.

bitorrents are cruising off that machine around 1500kb/s. I have downloaded from MS AT about 12.3MB/s..and uploaded to other FTP servers from that box @ 10-12MB/s.

It's an issue with filezilla server software, grrrr.

Re: FTP Server slow all of a sudden

tried rebooting all machines involved, a few times.

I tried different machines, issue is with the FTP server.

the server can download/upload to other FTP servers at 11MB/s

The client computers can download from other FTP servers at 1500kb/s or so (home connection, and fiber at work).

FTP Server slow all of a sudden

I was running a Windows server for a few months, worked around 1500kb/s, now it's locked at 12.8kb/s and no faster when downloading. The last time I downloaded 1500kb/s was about 2 weeks ago, nothing has changed either. I did try the latest FTP Server version, but no fix. I tried tweaking buffer siz...

Re: FileZilla Server downloads REALLY slow.

How could I test that? FTP downloads are only slow to that new server I just set up .. even with firewalls disabled and whatnot.

FileZilla Server downloads REALLY slow.

I have a windows server in a data center on a 100MB drop, I can download/upload in the 6MB/s area in bitorrent. But when I try to use FTP with filezilla server, I cannot get more then 12kb/s, I even tested local servers in the data center, never goes beyond 12kb/s. I tested the server here : https:/...

Re: cannot fully connect to my server--passive mode issue??

hmm, I fixed it by just changing my passive ports to 7000-7020.

I tried a lot of ranges, and this one worked! Cool, no DMZ , nothing.

I was using DD-WRT on my buffalo router.

Re: cannot fully connect to my server--passive mode issue??

Just for fun, I DMZ'd my server's ip and I was able to connect and work GREAT!

But I disabled it to try again, it failed, so I re-enabled DMZ to try once again, but it failed and started doing the Passive issue....wow, wth is doing this? Now I am confused....
