Okay, thanks.

I've increased the timeout from 20 to 200 seconds. I was then able to transfer a file that previously caused problems. Is there a guideline for determining the timeout needed or is it pretty much trial and error?

I'm trying to upload a file (~257kB) to a remote pc through a router+analog modem combination. I connect to the Pure-ftpd server that is running on the remote pc and drag my file into the appropriate directory. FZ immediately shows the progress of the file upload to be 47% (131 KB/s), and then nothi...
