What operating system are you using? That's going to be the biggest factor.

In general, though, if you're using Windows, you should be able to create a share folder and then just drag and drop.

Is there some way to connect via my FTP account "mike" and then run sudo -su and enter a password so as to escalate my permissions? I'm unable to figure out how (if it is even possible.)

Are you asking how to make the link to your thank you page open in a separate window or are you asking for help on a page not showing up after you upload it?
