You know the problem here. Lack of empathy. You can not imagine that anyone else's use case is differnt from yours. What will happen if you disable support for legacy protcols? Is it going to be fixed?

Like i say it's on my lan, it not externally facing anywhere.

Maybe it could be an undocumented feature requiring a manual edit of the xml file.

Checking this option does nothing. It asks the same question next time you connect regardless. The server in question is on my lan as you can see.

Do I need to delete and re-add the sever? Is it a bug?

I had this happen to me...

It was because the update was installing the 64 bit version, but my shortcut was pointing to the 32 bit.

Which is odd because all my updates had been installed automatically.

Usually when things render locally but not remotely it's because something is looking to your drive.

As in for example you've referenced your style sheet as being on your C: drive, so your html is telling the browser to look at your local drive

What would a coinminer be doing in an XML file? Why not just open the file in a text editor (such as notepad,) and see?

I found I am able to right click files and view/edit them. I then looked in the settings and found that the action to apply when double clicking files was 'transfer'. This setting was changed by the update. It has now been changed back to view/edit and all is working as before. Your support sucks! ...

Maybe they do, but if so then they don't signpost it very well. From the control panel you're supposed to be able to go to Softaculous and do it that way.
