No but shouldn't need one as its a personal file server only my laptop and cell phone are usually connected to it and there is a read only public share I use when I dont want to deal with image hosting sites for memes and such but that doesn't generate much traffic at all. Disable Force TLS for LAN / VPN connections ?

Is there a way to keep forced SSL/TLS enabled for WAN connections but disable it for specific IP ranges to allow higher performance for LAN and VPN connections in which the encryption is not needed?

To be honest i think even though ms pulled the plug on xp its still going to be around for a long time. its just that stable.

i think ending support for XP is a mistake because it is still so widely used especially in business

i am having this issue two but it only happens when i try to connect to my ftp server from work. i changed the server to use ports that i know are open on the corperate network but it changed from activly refused to push function error. so i am a bit lost for all intents and purposes it should work....

actually he has a decent idea that is more effective than autoban. i actually made administrator a read only non password protected account and have a single extensionless file in there named this account has been disabled for security purposes. if you do this a fair number of bots will successfully...

well i dont really see another way to make a remote interface that can be used from a dynamic ip. you could just add the feature with a security warning and leave the rest to administrative descression if they need the remote functionality they use the system if they want security they can simply us...

or the portable server interface application could query it on it's end and send it as a string along with the administrative password

maby i shouldn't have used the term bound to mac address. what i meant was basically creating a portable version of the filezilla server interface application as well as adding an option to the allowed ip list that allows incomming connections from any ip address but checks the computers mac address...
