Speed Limit - for 2 hours
I'm probably not the only one to do this, but you put the speed limit on for something and then forget to remove it again. You look 12 hours later when you expect the big upload to be complete and find it's not got anywhere. The typical reason for a speed limit I find is that you have for example a ...

Re: File Corruption from Power Cut - Suggestions
It was the client PC that suffered power out and needed restarting - I would think a server-side (that was providing the file) power out would not create a problem. Like boco said the problem may well often be at the tail end (there could be a user option), and I suspect there's no harm in assuming ...

File Corruption from Power Cut - Suggestions
I was transferring a 40 GB .7z file from one computer to another using FZ server and client, and there was a momentary power cut, and the computer had to be restarted. I 'resume'd the download in FZ and at the end did an MD5 and the final file checksum did not match the original. I'm sure this was c...

Sharing Folders & Aliases
Just starting using the Server again, on Windows, as I have lots of botany photos to share ad-hoc. A couple of suggestions - 1. Entering a new Directory to share you have an explorer dialog pop up. Root Alias
When I SSH FTP to my remote host, I get many levels of customer path on the remote host followed by my website tree; this makes the resulting tree display very messy. Naturally I would like the customer path to be omitted in the actual display i.e. in the connections settings as well as providing my...

Re: Feature Request: Temporary File Names for items in Transit
This is really the most needed feature of all in Filezilla. When you're uploading a file, you don't want to put the existing files out of action, or lose them on an aborted upload, and the easiest way is for filezilla to upload the file as a temp and then rename it to the destination name. This is p...

Synchronised View : Directory Comparison
Version : Client 3.2.1, XPSP2 It would be nice if you are in Directory Comparison AND in Synchronised View, that when you change directory, it continues with Directory Comparison. Currently the Directory Comparison view reverts to normal view. (And whilst at it, the ability to sort by Comparison sta...
