Re: Where to set my SFP record and DKIM record?

Hey Scarlett

When you write SFP you mean SPF, right!? :)
I have set it at my DNS provider and it works fine for me.
Not sure if this is right way, but it works!

Hey Froggy No answer! Let me try to help you :) All you need to login with FTP is a username and a password. Your host is: ftp.example.com or the server IP address to the webhotel. The Port is: 21 You can find the information at the FTP-users. I think that your hosting account name is the same as th...

Re: How i can Upload my Wordpress Site on new Hosting With Filezilla

Hey Farooqmaahir As Boco mentioned you also need to move the DB. You can change your local host file to see if your new site is working properly before you change your DNS. It is located in: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc Then the visitors will not see a down-site, and you can check i faster then w...

Re: Reference to a renamed website

You can do it within the .htaccess file with a 301 permanent redirect.

Code: Select all

Example:
## enable rewrites
    Options +FollowSymLinks
    RewriteEngine on

# Permanent URL redirect
Redirect 301 /xxx/xxx.php http://example.com/xxx.php

Re: Site not working after renamed index.php

... and check that you really renamed it: index.php
Perhaps you uploaded into the wrong folder! It should be httpdocs / public_html / etc.

If it's coursed by PHP, then check your variables and paths.

Hey Lumenix

You are not using SSL ? (https://)
Have you tried to submit it to Google Webmaster Tools, now Google Search Console?

Your sitemap should be: sitemap.xml

Hey Linda

Did you find the details?
Typically you can log in to your webhotel provider and see the details under FTP accounts / FTP access.

Re: FileZilla and Magento

Hey snarres

I always use FileZilla for magento webshops, it has a better overview over the folders and files.
Very importen for me, when you switch between the app folder and skin folder all the time.

Re: CPanel

Hey Casper

They need:
Your ip-adress or FTP name (ftp.example.com)
and you can make an additional FTP-user (Username and password).
You can delete the additional FTP-user after they have made the implementation.

Re: Remote Backup for Family and Friends

Have you seen storagecraft / acronis / symantec. They also make remote server backup.

You could also do it manually with owncloud on a VPS.

4: You do not need dedicated IP if you do manually.
