I've noticed this too... the local directory flickers/refreshes constantly while downloading. More an irritant than a problem. Not seen it before I upgraded to 12.c

I'm using Opera... FF is fine (my other half uses it), but Opera's integration is wonderful.

I'd not even thought of that as a way of managing things before. Sure is cool. And yes, Notepad++ rocks.

My first thought is to try and re-enter the password. Make sure it's the correct case (lower or upper).

What site/ISP are you trying to connect to? Someone here may use the same place.

Yes.

Click on the Site Manager
Highlight the particular site you want
Click on Advanced when the dialog opens
Enter the setting you want.

Open a folder (any folder). Go to Tools/Folder Options/View. Look for the Command "Hidden Files and Folders" and click which ever option you prefer (Show hidden files and folders OR Do not show hidden files or folders). If you scroll further down the dialog box, you'll see some more options for "hid...

I like sound too

I'm with guru_glenn on this.

I've a collection of sounds on my system picked up from all sorts of progs and I decide which ones I actually want to use for different things. I've made a few myself but they really ain't up to standard to package with anything.

That doesn't work :( -- oh I see what you mean!

I've got 'Ask' selected as my default. Oh I see what's happening. When I upload 20-30 files I tick the dialog box for "Overwrite" which says "use this action every time". Then when I download, the "Overwrite" command is now the new default. Really I only want to use Overwrite on uploads... I want to...

file transfer overrite settings

When I upload to my site I have the 'file overwrite' set to ask me what to do. It does and I click to overwrite and also tick the box saying keep using this setting. Everything then overwrites, as it should :) When I then want to download my logs folder I want to be able to be more selective (I only...

F5 / Views

Hi

I'd found the Views/Refresh key (F5 is quicker). Just wondered whether there were plans for an automatic refresh once the upload/download is complete. I was kinda used to it from Ws_ftp.
