Re: suggestion: make "Confirmation needed" window a Windows standard window

No idea which Windows you use, but I have that feature built in (Windows 7). It's in Mouse properties and called "Snap To - Automatically move the pointer to the default button in a dialog box". That may be the reason Logitech stopped development on the tool (which was for the XP era, I guess). But...

Re: suggestion: make "Confirmation needed" window a Windows standard window

Damn, then I'm f*cked... they haven't updated the software for my mouse in ages.

Weird though that FileZilla is the only program where it's not (fully) working. (It works when deleting local files.)

suggestion: make "Confirmation needed" window a Windows standard window

I'm using Logitech's SmartMove feature, which automatically moves the cursor to a window's YES button when that window pops up. My issue: the "Confirmation needed" window (that pops up when deleting remote files) is different from the Windows standard, so it's not recognized, and thus SmartMove isn'...

Hmm, ok... How can I confirm if it's a "5"?

(Sorry for the late reply, I forgot to set "Notify me when a reply is posted")

bug or feature request: failed transfers

Hello! Sometimes, when I transfer files from FTP to NAS, there's a wifi issue and transfer stops. For some reason, the NAS doesn't recover from that (files can't be written to) right away after the wifi connection is back, and even with "Reconnection settings -> Maximum number of retries" being set ...

FileZilla 3.39.0 bug/ inconsistency - folder focus

To reproduce, do this in Windows Explorer and FileZilla: - enter a directory ("ABC") - press Alt+CursorUp to go back to the parent directory In Windows Explorer, "ABC" has now focus/ is highlighted, so you can immediately perform actions on it (rename/ delete). In FileZilla, "ABC" now only has the f...

There must be some faulty networking equipment causing this sitting between the client and the server.
Hmm.... What would you guess: is it my router or my ISP?

Re: bug? weird transfer speed issue

I made another discovery that doesn't fit the "slow harddisk on the server" theory: hours ago, I started a file transfer (FTP to C:), the file was just about 1 GB. When I came back to the PC it was still transfering at 20 KB/s (WAY less than the regular speed). I stopped and removed the file and res...

bug? weird transfer speed issue

Rarely, this happens: - I start a SFTP to C: transfer - it's slow as hell (less than 10% of the usual speed) - I stop the transfer - I open a new tab and start a FTP to C: Linux DVD transfer from a public FTP server - it's fast! - I stop the transfer - I restart the original SFTP to C: transfer - no...

Quick Search improvement suggestions

When typing something in the Quick Search, the file list is instantly filtered, which is great. When you hit Enter though (as I accidentally did), you get a "Syntax error: Could not parse server address [...]" error message. I suggest to change that and to instead highlight the first file of the mat...

FileZilla feature request: different double-click actions for local and remote panes

Hello!

I would like to be able to set different double-click actions for local and remote panes. Why? Because most of the time, I use "View" on local files, and "Download" on remote files.

Can't imagine I'm the only one! :D

Re: 3.36.0 bug: can't TAB down to my NAS files anymore

Oh, cool, that works :) Interesting side note: using a drive letter changed something else... - when loading a bookmark for N: (the NAS) and a FTP folder, it takes the same time to display everything as it to...

3.36.0 bug: can't TAB down to my NAS files anymore

When "Local site" is my NAS, and I use the TAB key, wanting to move to the NAS files being shown (without using the mouse), FileZilla since recently changes the currently used local directory from my NAS to the list of local drives. My personal workaround is to disable the local directory tree, but ...

Re: 3.35.1 bug: deleting file on server doesn't really refresh the directory content

I see... So if such servers exist, "auto-refresh the server side after deleting" needs to be an option.
