Re: Starting SFTP (with PPK) from commandline ?

Passwords should not be passed on the command-line as that's not secure.

To use sftp:// prefix the URI with sftp://

Note that the username is part of the URI, it's the userinfo part of the URI's authority part.

You can configure keyfiles in the settings dialog of FileZilla.

Re: is Saftety4Data the same as FileZilla

Never heard of this product before. At a first glance it looks like your typical run-of-the-mill snake oil. No technical information, no source code. Their official website is stuffed to the brim with SEO bullshit bingo aimed at fooling tech-agnostic managers and contains no actual information. Your...

Killer E2400 Gigabit Ethernet
This device does not have a good reputation. At the very least, make sure you are using the latest drivers for it. Check the website of the ethernet adapter manufacturer for details.

You can also try using a cheap USB ethernet or wifi dongle.

Re: No success to use Filezilla anymore

Well, since the server is rejecting your login credentials this means that either:
  1. You are entering the wrong login credentials
  2. The server does not know the correct login credentials
  3. You are not connecting to the right server to begin with

Re: Filezilla Started Renaming Files on Remote server and they disappeared

Technically moving a file is just renaming it. More specifically, changing the path component of it.

Are you using a touchpad? Accidental drag operations are always a possibility with these devices. Make sure to always use a very firm touch to move the cursor.

Re: FiliZilla Ubuntu Install problem

These messages do not come from FileZilla itself. Most likely coming from either GTK+ or the GTK+ theming engine used. Personally I ignore these messages.

Re: 550 Permission Denied

The problem is the used client, it does not use session resumption on the data connection. You need to update to a modern, secure client that uses session resumption.

Re: Internal Server Error / files currently being edited

I'm sure that there is nothing wrong with my files
Then the Internal Server Error must have nothing to do with you having changed the files through FileZilla.

My best guess is an incorrect server configuration.
