Re: fzhellext_64.dll being used by igfxem module?

Looks like this Intel software is loading shell extensions.

If the FileZilla uninstaller cannot remove the shell extension it should prompt for a reboot. Following a reboot the file should be gone.

Re: "Undefined reference" errors in building FileZilla

You did not start over from scratch from when you were using the wrong shell, or you otherwise deviated from the instructions.

Re: Building Filezilla 3.47.2.1 on OpenIndiana Hipster

For some obscure reason the argument to link with libfilezilla is missing. What's the output of the following command on your system?

Code: Select all

pkg-config --libs libfilezilla

Does the server by chance block your IP?

You're using an unsupported wxWidgets flavor. It must be the GTK one on platforms that are neither Windows nor macOS.

Re: "Undefined reference" errors in building FileZilla

Try building the installer as described in the guide. Also you shouldn't "make install" things directly into /msys64/mingw64, always use a custom prefix to avoid polluting your environment.

Re: FATAL ERROR: Operation timed out

Could you please post a log from FileZilla? Based on the limited information given so far, my best guess would be a server outage.

Re: The Connection Refuses.

There simply is no SFTP server at that address and port.

Re: Cannot use FZ - it keeps crashing

This definitely looks like you have set the queue completion action to close FileZilla. Right-click the queue and select a different completion action.

Re: Error while "Building libfilezilla" for FileZilla compilation

You can safely use a higher GnuTLS version, GnuTLS 3.6.13 should work as well.

Also, a fix has been committed to the repository so that libfilezilla can again be compiled with GnuTLS 3.5.x

If you are not in a network environment then what do you even need an FTP server for?

Re: Latest XP supported Version?

You are _NOT_ supposed to use FileZilla Server on Windows XP. Install a more modern operating system already.

Re: Link to older versions of FileZilla?

Are you nuts? How can you with good conscience still run Windows XP in a networked environment? It's the IT equivalent of licking toilet seats and sniffing used face masks.

You absolutely have to update to a modern operating system still in public support by its vendor.
