No I haven't (yet) because this issue only came-up since the last FileZilla upgrade.
What are good questions I should ask them?
(I will ask if they have any logs anyway)

I have the same or similar issue. Once in a while a transfer fails, in the same manner as described above. I can not remember this happening with previous versions. I use the option TLS when available. H E L P No day passes without a few transfers failing (file seems to be deleted after transfer)
