Yes the Marshall drives are manufactured by Toshiba, I have not seen anything about refurbs or pulls.
Surprisingly I think the WD RED Drives I have are the SMR and probably causing the issue.

I have run tests on everything and have seen no errors or warnings.

That is an excellent question! Not sure what a SMR drive is but I will be looking into it. In the PC They are 6Tb drives from Marshall "designed for NAS for desktop storage" The listing says they are Toshiba drives. Picked them up on Amazon a few years ago. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/prod...
