Re: How do I delete fzshellext_64.dll

FileZilla Uninstaller should have removed it. Maybe a reboot was necessary.

Regsvr32 must be run with Admin rights if the target DLL is in a protected Windows system directory. "Program Files" is protected.

Re: File Fragmentation

With only 1.7GB left on 8TB disk, expect heavy fragmentation. Unless you meant 1.7 TB . FileZilla Server does not support pre-allocation like FileZilla Client does, already. Maybe it's planned for the coming re-write, the developer would have to answer that. Other than that, the files are not placed...

Re: EPSV?

That looks like a severely mis-configured server, it does not know how to handle IPv6 connections. If it worked shortly before either your or their side did just enable IPv6 access. You need to contact them and tell them. 1. Recommended fix: The server administrator must fix/upgrade the FTP server s...

Re: Reconnect to Last Server button functionality

Please note the Reconnect info represents a "snapshot" of the configuration, at the time you connected using the Site Manager directly. Even if you later change the Site Manager data for the entry, the Reconnect info is unaffected. To update it, connect using the Site Manager directly. This will rep...

Re: Transfer Speed

Is the limit consistent for every additional file? So it is 2 x 3.8MiB/s for two files? If yes, it may be traffic shaping by the ISP, or a per-connection-limit on the server. FTP over TLS is unknown traffic to the ISP. It might get confused by them with other types of encrypted traffic, like P2P, an...

Re: Increasing Upload Speed

- Be aware that most broadband today is asymmetric - you download much faster than you upload. - Speed can also depend on how many hops the packets have to pass through - if the number is to large it might exceed the TTL (Time To Live) and then you are dealing with packet loss and thus slowdowns (as...

Re: Login very slow

Did you have repeated failed logins from the same IP, earlier? FileZilla Server artificially slows down logins gradually, after a certain amount of failed ones. That is to thwart brute forcing and password guessing.

Re: url oder netdrive (NAS)

No, FTP cannot be accessed directly and has to be processed through an FTP client of some sort. Windows has limited support for adding FTP resources as network locations. This uses the IE Trident engine, with all its shortcomings (like not supporting FTP over TLS).

So you are using WSL. No idea if the WSL version of cURL is current. Not using Windows 10 so I can't check.

Re: Pause upload and download

No. While you can stop the queue at any time, the transfers in progress are aborted. The queue information itself is saved on graceful shutdown. When resuming the queue processing, any aborted transfers that were in progress at the time you stopped require server Resume support in order to start at ...

Re: Speed/Security Pro vs. Standard Filezilla

Both Standard and Pro are as secure and fast as possible. FileZilla does not sacrifice core features like security or speed in order to sell more Pro licenses. There is no "crippling" of the standard version and it will not lose any features it already has. The big advantage of Pro is that it suppor...

Re: Pro Upgrade Issues

There were some issues with auto update in a few old FileZilla versions that have since been resolved. As you tried to update from a very old version, you might have run into that old bug. Should be gone now for all new releases.
