Re: Error loading queue_sqlite3

The file is exactly where it tells you it is. However, Windows is being sneaky and hides the AppData directory from you.

Just enter %APPDATA%\FileZilla into the address bar of one Explorer window, press RETURN and it will take you there.

Re: cant uninstall filezilla

Would help mentioning what hardware and OS you use. PC? Windows? Linux? MacOS? Your toaster or fridge? Please, think about it - we have no idea what your specs are, and a "Desktop" exists on all OS mentioned above (although I'm not sure about the toaster/fridge :)). As a general advice - reboot and ...

Re: Sophos is giving an error on the FileZilla.app of having a PUA tireroom

Your AV is just acting up on one of the bundled offers.

PUA = Possible Unwanted Application. Which is bullcrap, since everything is potentially unwanted.

https://filezilla-project.org/download.php?show_all=1 should offer versions you can download uninterrupted.

Re: Error loading queue_sqlite3

First, the only version you should ever be using is the very latest. Older versions are unsupported here, and updates are there for a reason. Improvements and fixes are only ever applied to the latest version's code, so, reporting problems with old versions simply doesn't make any sense. The FileZil...

Tried it myself, no problems at all. Amazingly, the package is up-to-date! Still, it is a Linux repository version (=Third-party build) which we do not support here.

Can be ignored in this case. "Halp" does only a simple version comparison, it doesn't know about the recent developments, yet.

Re: How does the client get configured for user certificates?

SFTP doesn't use certificates, SFTP uses keys. If the server uses Public key authentication, FileZilla offers inserting the required Private Key in two places: 1. In the Settings - SFTP, for global usage throughout the application, or 2. In the Site Manager with selected "Key File" Logon Type. Note ...

Re: How does the client get configured for user certificates?

Yes, correct. FTP over TLS is Transport Layer Security, the server certificate is presented to the user (s)he can verify the server is what it pretends to be. TLS isn't any means of access control mechanism, e. g. you can't lock out users with it. FileZilla follows the TOFU (Trust On First Use) mode...

Re: Initializing TLS / GnuTLS error -110

First, please update your FileZilla FTP Server to the latest version, outdated versions receive no support.

Second, using the same port for Plain/Explicit FTP over TLS and Implicit FTP over TLS does NOT work. Implicit FTPS definitely requires a separate port (990 by default).

Re: Questions regarding FileZilla Pro on multiple OSs

My best guess: Automatic compile and build process pushes the new packages to the download locations. This includes OS for which there haven't been changes. The App Store process is manual and only done if there are actual changes. Rule of thumb for Store users: If the Store doesn't push a new versi...

Re: Files are Downloading Recursively

That process was always there. Message will show only for large directory trees (many subdirectories) because it has to add each one-by-one. You can't get the whole tree at once from an FTP server. For low count of items, it won't show, only if the process is taking some time. Let it work, otherwise...
