Re: Speed Limit - for 2 hours

Generally, the bugtracker should be used for feature requests, as they will get lost in these forums. Please search, first, and, if such a ticket already exists, attach to it.

Known issue, will be fixed with the next release. In the meantime, using the clickboxes shouldn't crash.

Re: Remove unsecure SHA1 ciphers

It is not possible to compile a new version of the old server code anymore. To my knowledge, it doesn't compile correctly anymore on a new compiler/linker.

However, there is a completely new server in the works.

Re: IP Blocking by Range

FileZilla Server does support IP range blocks. They have to be given in CIDR notation.

e. g. 180.217.*.* would be 180.217.0.0/16 in CIDR notation.

Re: Failed to open <filename> for writing

What you wrote has nothing to do with the original issue.

The Permissions in the Edit menu need to be adjusted only for FileZilla Pro purchased from the Apple Store, in order to overcome Apple's mandatory Sandbox feature.

Re: Upload is successful but file doesn't change

We do not have anything to do with Mozilla. I like Mozzarella better.

And, linking a picture from your hard drive is very clever, it will not work for anyone but you, unfortunately.

Re: backup filezilla server config files

@botg: I guess the issue is that the format of the old XML file from 0.9.43 is somehow not recognized (or not recognized correctly) by the new 0.9.60 version he's trying to migrate to. Usually, just copying it in and restarting the service (or issuing the command from an admin shell) should work. &q...

Re: issue reconnecting to same server with different root directory

In order to avoid unnecessary server queries, received lists of directories are cached for some time. If you find that FileZilla still displays cached contents after having reconfigured the server, you need to press F5 to refresh the listing.

Yes, as the forum is for support. Feature requests and dedicated bug tickets need to go into the official bug & feature tracker.

Re: Folders (Directories) have -rwa under Filename

That happens if the wrong server type is selected (or auto-selected). In the Site Manager entry, Advanced tab, open the Server type Dropdown control. You need to experiment a bit, but it's probably one of the DOS type servers. You must create a Site Manager entry for that server, as Quick Connect is...
