Re: Can't connect to Filezilla FTP server hosted on Win10 PC from phone connected to the same LAN
the server only shows the localhost IP (127.0.0.1). What do you mean by that? Do you use the correct listening port to connect? The default one is 21, but if you set another port as listening port in the server settings (General), you need to specify it in the client. Note that the admin port (1414...

Re: Can't connect to Filezilla FTP server hosted on Win10 PC from phone connected to the same LAN
1. Your phone is in the LAN/WLAN (has a LAN IP assigned)?
2. You are using the LAN IP of the server to connect? Domain name or external IP won't work as mobile providers usually don't support FTP.

Re: Problems with Date keeping on upload (box checked)
Does the FTP server in your NAS support the MFMT command? You can temporarily enable the detailed log by right clicking the log pane and selecting Detailed log. Do so after a fresh start of FileZilla, then connect to your server. Study the server's response to the FEAT command. If the server does no...

Re: Upgrading from 0.9.41 to 0.9.60.2
There are no intentional changes nor deletions of any settings of yours. However, there are some things that have changed in the meantime. Study the version history between old and new version carefully. And, it's always advisable to make a backup of "FileZilla Server.xml" before doing the...

Re: TLS 1.0
FileZilla Server supports up to TLS 1.2 with high encryption. However, as much as that matters security-wise, it doesn't for browsers. Browsers did never support FTP over TLS, at all. The few browsers left with any support for FTP (constantly shrinking in numbers) do so for plain, unencrypted FTP on...

Re: Cannot connect to server
In the Settings, Admin Interface settings 1. Make sure the Admin Interface is bound to at least your LAN address. Default is * (IIRC) which is all interfaces. 2. Enter the LAN IP of the device that should be allowed to remote administrate into the right field. 3. Assign a password of the required le...

Re: Startup to multiple sites.
Well, if it's always the same sites, simply set startup behavior to "Restore tabs and reconnect" in the settings (Interface). Don't disconnect from any of your servers and simply close FileZilla. At the next start, all tabs, directories and connections will be automatically restored.

Re: FileZilla-iMac Catalina
The Mac version does not have any shell extension like the Windows version does. Thus, Drag&Drop to locations outside of FileZilla is not possible on Mac, at least from FileZilla's side. Must have been something else if it really worked earlier. Note the lack of Drag&Drop to external locatio...

Re: User Restrictions
SFTP server without any way to restrict permissions sounds strange. Unless you are a mere user of the SFTP server from a third party (Dreamhost), in which case you might want to ask them if you are allowed to use it that way (many hosters allow FTP/SFTP only for website maintenance by one user). I a...

Please note that FTP uses TCP only. UDP does not need to be forwarded nor opened.and set windows firewall rules to allow both ports, TCP and UDP in and out

Re: User Restrictions
As the user is free in her/his choice of clients, restricting one client would achieve nothing, actually. You would have to totally lock down the OS environment. What archaic FTP server is this? Is it even FTP (as Cyberduck supports further protocols)? I only know TFTP as protocol usually lacking an...

Maybe it's shoved off-screen or cropped by a misbehaving window manager/theme?
