Re: Unable to disable "Check for Updates" popup
Again, missing the point. Explaining what to do would work for any release. Your refusal to give a very simple description of the way to solve my problem (erasing setup files in the download folder) is incomprehensible, it borders on fanaticism. I did downgrade, and don't intend to waste time with a...

Re: Unable to disable "Check for Updates" popup
It's hard to remain civil when you get this kind of "support", but I will and use reasonable arguments in this complaint rather than just yell like I strongly feel to do. I'm sure that the configuration files have not changed on this minor upgrade, so it would have been very easy for you t...

Re: Unable to disable "Check for Updates" popup
Ok, so we're back about my question about the name of the server that allows older versions to know that there is a new one. If you give it to me, I'll disable it in my hosts file, and be happy. Or I can use a process hacker and see all the connections that Filezilla does when it starts. But why mak...

Re: Unable to disable "Check for Updates" popup
Bug is described here:
https://trac.filezilla-project.org/ticket/11761#no3
But I still would like the "never update" to work. That is a bug is the last version too.

Re: Unable to disable "Check for Updates" popup
The most recent version has a bug that prevents me to use it.
Could you then just tell we what address Filezilla uses to check for a new version? If I set something like filezillachecker.com to 0.0.0.0 on my host file, that will solve my problem until you solve yours!

Unable to disable "Check for Updates" popup
Hi, I downgraded to filezilla-3-35-2 due to a bug in 3.37.3 (unable to drag and drop in the local site panel), and in the settings I set checking for updates to never. Despite that, every time I close the file manager, I have an annoying popup reminding me of the new version and about the pro versio...

Re: Multi-Part Downloads Feature Needed
In its default settings FileZilla is capable to fully saturate a transatlantic gigabit link. It sounds as if the server you are connecting to isn't configured correctly That's absolutely incorrect. I have NEVER been able to fully exploit my gigabit line, even with a Filezilla server. The ONLY way t...

Re: A Segmented Downloads workaround...
Segmented downloads are an error-prone workaround at best. FileZilla can easily do fast transfers even when the latency is high. Look at the server, something is not right there, otherwise transfers would be fast. That's just no true. Every server benefits from segmented downloads. Even Filezilla s...

Re: Has FTPES support been discarded?
Oh, I see.
You have too chose FTP rather than SFTP to have the option in a different choice dialog now.
FTP was used for plain non-encrypted connections only with previous releases, I did not realize that this has changed.
Thanks.

Has FTPES support been discarded?
Hi,
It seems that FTPES support has been discarded with the latest releases.
I can see the option with 3.3.4.1, but not with subsequent releases, and I do need it (explicit) to connect to at least one site at the moment.
Am I missing some new setting with more recent versions?
Thanks.

Able to upload when using one ISP, and not with another ISP
Hi, When I use my ADSL ISP, I am able to upload to a site which is configure with SFTP-SSH. When I use my cable ISP, I can log in this site, download files, erase remote files, but when I try to upload files, the upload starts normally, and then stalls. I tried other FTP clients, and they all work. ...

Re: A suggestion on file ordering
Thank you for taking the time to answer. I'm a bit surprised with the answer though. Moving entries up and down is not sorting the whole queue, it should be a snap regardless of the number of entries. I can do it manually by removing all the items, and resubmitting them in the proper order, although...

A suggestion on file ordering
Hi, First thanks to the developers of Filezilla. It's a very nifty and useful tool, and it's free! I have only one gripe with its UI, the way file priority is handled. When you have already files in the queue, and you add files from a different site, the new files start downloading before the previo...

Documentation is outdated, a transfer's status is shown in the queue. Unfortunately, the status on the queue is not as thorough: it does not indicate the total transfer rate (needed when you have several simultaneous transfers), nor the remaing time for the whole queue. Thanks for the answer anyway.
