in other words - if i copy the fileZilla XML - is this enough to enable a connection!?

created the ssh-key pair and
sent the pub key to the server admin - which stores it at the server
added the priv key to the filezilla client


see the resultS: Disconnected: No supported authentication methods available (server sent: publickey)

did i forget any thing

good day, many thanks for the quick reply - if i try to add the private key to the filezilla client i have no luck - the upload of the .asc - file does not work i am in the menu "settings"/SFTP/Public-Key-authentication... add key-file if i try to add the key - and choose it - i cannot fullfill this...
