trivial UI issue

When entering an invalid value for speed limiting (either a constant limit or a rule, in user or global settings), the UI displays a message in german, "Geben Sie eine ganze Zahl zwischen 1 und 1000000000 ein." I assume it's a compiler thing, because I can't find the message in the sources. Filezill...

server crash

The server crashed while I was already logged several times on it and still trying do open connections. I was trying to understand why I couldn't access a folder on the ftp server, from a local virtual machine (using Windows Explorer as ftp client, it had a cached root folder listing). I increased t...

Re: 0.9.44 beta "Faulting module name: libeay32.dll"

Do you expect there's a chance that the 2nd debug build will not crash? I haven't been able to crash it.

Re: 0.9.44 beta "Faulting module name: libeay32.dll"

It's not 100% reproducible with my setup. But I managed to crash it several times. There are times when it doesn't want to crash.
My PC specs: i3 2120, 8GB DDR3, 2x 1TB 7200rpm no RAID spinning rust. I will try again, with the new build.

Re: 0.9.44 beta "Faulting module name: libeay32.dll"

I can reliably reproduce the crash with your debug build, my Windows 7 x64 host and Debian 7.6 x86 running as a VirtualBox virtual machine. I copy from the server to the client (Debian's Filezilla Client 3.5.3 package, default settings). I've used the unarchived Qt 4.8.6 source files (get the source...

Re: OpenSSL and Filezilla Server

Aliases using physical path syntax are lost. You need to recreate them using virtual path syntax. The interface still allows to set and save old-type aliases, without any complaints, while the user scratches his head, like I did. It should warn/not allow it. And make the change more visible in the ...

Re: random 425 Can't open data connection

Yes, but that's on the server side. For active FTP connections, the server must behave like a client, so it must connect to remote ports, opened by the FTP client. It uses "one local port to many remote ports" connections. I've made a network capture to try and understand why Filezilla server fails ...

Re: random 425 Can't open data connection

I've managed to compile the service component of the server. I've reached to the WindowProc function. When the server is about to fail with 425, the function WindowProc (AsyncSocketEx) receives lParam = 658505744 (every time it's the same value), which means nErrorCode = 10048, WSAEADDRINUSE. It rea...

Re: random 425 Can't open data connection

boco : The inline example above is real, the server encountered 425 very early, there were very few TIME_WAIT sockets in comparison with other times, when the client&server managed to get along together and transfer a few thousands of files, while the number of TIME_WAIT sockets reached a much high...

here's the last part of one of them, I can't just paste them whole, e.g. one of them reached 2MB in size, before the server encountered "425" if you want, I can put them on pastebin com (000001) 14.05.2010 19:49:29 - x (192.168.0.254)> PORT 192,168,0,254,195,91 (000001) 14.05.2010 19:49:29 - x (192....

random 425 Can't open data connection

Hello. I'm encountering random "425 Can't open data connection" errors when transferring data between Filezilla Server (host Windows XP SP3 32 bit, fully patched) and some ftp client, using only active ftp sessions: 1) Total Commander (running on the same physical machine&OS, running concurrently wi...
