Re: Is there an undo like button?

I am helping my brother with his fire company's website and I have some basic knowledge of the file transferring.. however, there are ALOT of folders that I am not sure what they do nor do they make much sense to me. I am thinking about deleting all of them and starting from scratch, but I am not s...

Re: How To please?

UPDATE: My consensus is that Filezilla along with every other application I've tried to setup and configure, is USELESS. Why? Because as long as I turn on IIS, it WORKS, RIGHT THEN AND THERE, WITH NO PROBLEM. Now I don't want to use IIS simply because I have multiple directories to share and IIS fr...

And in that strange dynamically types language assumed to be zero. So divide by zero. I enjoy this thread. Let's see how soon somebody comes up with a solution. It's such a basic thing ;) I enjoy it as well, you look pretty dumb.. look up to the 4th POST and read it(the entire post). Here I'll make...

Re: FTP over HTTPS

the http server program points to a directory on the server figure it out..
make a user on filezilla that has that as their directory.

So..
If the directory that the http server gets its files from was:
E:\public_html

Go to filezilla server and setup a user with the shared folder:
E:\public_html

Re: FTP Game File Hosting Server Possible?

Ahh yes, I was right about the connection speeds anyways except for the download rate being alot higher than what I stated which normally it is, but I am only getting still around 500-700kb/sec. What speedtest results were are: 352kb/sec upload speed and a 4877kb/sec download speed but really only ...

connection speed : http://www.speedtest.net 1. Quit whatever it is you are trying to do. 2. Setup up FileZilla Server and test it on lan. (FileZilla AND the game server don't directly interact. NOTICE:Step 5.) 3. Forward the need ports in your router.. 21 and whatever you choose for the passive mode...

Re: Same aliases replicated in Group/User directories

Remove the alias from the USER shared folder settings.

Code: Select all

Group(Shared Folders):
	Directory	Alias
H	F:\FTP
	F:\d1	F:\FTP\d1
	F:\d2	F:\FTP\d2
	F:\d3	F:\FTP\d3

User:
	Directory	Alias
	F:\d1

The the settings above work. Effectively d1 of user overwrites d1 of group.

Re: Cuteftp site manager import

True - if I'd known there was no way to do it via the import feature that is supposedly somewhere in 2.2.5a. Maybe it's just me, but I try not to give up the second I can't work something out. And as no one knows, or is telling, where that functionality is, it's now my only option to sit here for h...

You couldn't have trace routed my server, i never gave out the FTP://thingy or my IP. ftp://sunycollege.myftp.org is just an example. Look at your post with connection attempt logs from when you tried to use a school computer.. I put it below for easier findings you can look for it in your earlier ...
