bug? weird transfer speed issue

Rarely, this happens: - I start a SFTP to C: transfer - it's slow as hell (less than 10% of the usual speed) - I stop the transfer - I open a new tab and start a FTP to C: Linux DVD transfer from a public FTP server - it's fast! - I stop the transfer - I restart the original SFTP to C: transfer - no...

Quick Search improvement suggestions

When typing something in the Quick Search, the file list is instantly filtered, which is great. When you hit Enter though (as I accidentally did), you get a "Syntax error: Could not parse server address [...]" error message. I suggest to change that and to instead highlight the first file of the mat...

FileZilla feature request: different double-click actions for local and remote panes

Hello!

I would like to be able to set different double-click actions for local and remote panes. Why? Because most of the time, I use "View" on local files, and "Download" on remote files.

Can't imagine I'm the only one! :D

Re: 3.36.0 bug: can't TAB down to my NAS files anymore

> Are you by chance using a UNC path? Yes > Try instead mapping your NAS to a drive letter. Oh, cool, that works :) Interesting side note: using a drive letter changed something else... - when loading a bookmark for N: (the NAS) and a FTP folder, it takes the same time to display everything as it to...

3.36.0 bug: can't TAB down to my NAS files anymore

When "Local site" is my NAS, and I use the TAB key, wanting to move to the NAS files being shown (without using the mouse), FileZilla since recently changes the currently used local directory from my NAS to the list of local drives. My personal workaround is to disable the local directory tree, but ...

Re: 3.35.1 bug: deleting file on server doesn't really refresh the directory content

I see... So if such servers exist, "auto-refresh the server side after deleting" needs to be an option.

Re: 3.35.1 bug: deleting file on server doesn't really refresh the directory content

Maybe we talk at cross purposes here... I still don't understand why "the local file list would need to be made slow as well" - why not have "auto-refresh the server side after deleting" as an option and then it refreshes as quickly as it does, even if it's a bit slower than the local files? I don't...

Re: 3.35.1 bug: deleting file on server doesn't really refresh the directory content

Hmm..... I don't understand why "the local file list would need to be made slow as well".

Most of the time I use my NAS on the local side, and the remote list refreshes faster than the NAS (and about as quickly as C:)

Then I kindly request an option to get the same behavior for local and remote files. 8)

3.35.1 bug: deleting file on server doesn't really refresh the directory content

Load a server directory in FileZilla that contains at least one file (file xy) Copy or move another file there without using FileZilla (file zzz) Delete file xy While it now looks as if FileZilla does refresh the view, file zzz does not become visible. Only a manual use of F5 reveals what's really t...

3.35.1 bug: renaming local files works but changes not visible

FileZilla will rename a local file but now show the change. How to reproduce: Hit F2 to rename bla.txt to bla.txt2 Hit Enter bla.txt is shown Only hitting F5 will reveal that the actual file name now is bla.txt2 It works just fine for remote files. I closed FileZilla and started it again, still the ...

Re: file/ folder loses focus after renaming

Hmm... interesting. FileZilla doesn't support the use of Window's undo hotkey, but when I switch to the Windows Explorer I can undo a name change I did in FileZilla.

Re: file/ folder loses focus after renaming

Now I'm aware of the issue and I seems Microsoft needs to fix it, they broke something in Windows 10. All I could do is work around it, which has drawbacks. Since we all know how quick Microsoft often is (hint: https://giphy.com/gifs/road-snail-RCBQSWiMPTQly) I'd appreciate a workaround from you. :)
