Different programs use different functionality provided by the OS. If the leak is one part of the operating system only those programs using that specific part is experiencing the memory leak.

Nothing is installed without consent. If something is being installed then it is because you agreed to it. The fact that the offer-enabled installer can display offers is clearly disclosed at the start of the installer, also at that point an alternative is mentioned for users that do not wish to use...

Sounds like the server is using a too small TCP window size scaling factor in its initial SYN/ACK packet. Try configuring the server to use larger windows.

AUTH TLS is just stating your intent to perform the handshake. How to shake hands is explained in https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc5246

Then there is one running FileZilla Server 0.9.56 beta that is one hour behind. Outdated, must be updated. The ones that are 4 hours behind are running the native FTP server that comes with AIX 7.1 TL5. I noticed this back when some of these servers were still running AIX 6.1. IBM software, outdate...
