Which version of FileZilla are you using?

When I hover over the FileZilla icon in the taskbar the preview shows a mostly grey screen with a very thin line of colours on the leftmost pixels only.
Never encountered anything similar. Could you post a screenshot please?

Please double-check your login credentials, watch out for character case and leading/trailing whitespace.

Two different issues here. There does not seem to be a working SFTP server at the target address. To get active mode FTP to work, please refer to our Network Configuration guide.

Thank you for the detailed explanation and the workaround. With this information I was able to reproduce the bug, it will be fixed in the next version.

The second log shows a different problem. Most likely the server is behind a firewall that isn't configured correctly for FTP over TLS. Please contact your server administrator or server hosting provider to have the server's firewall fixed.
