Re: Configuration test passed but cannot connect to server

There simply is no working SFTP server at that hostname.

Please double-check your login credentials. If the problem persists you need to contact your hosting provider for further assistance.

Re: Delay after downloading several small files

Are you using FTP over TLS, as indicated by the lock icon in the status bar?

Which FTP server software (product and version) is running on the server machine?

Re: Filezilla ignores Site Manager "Logon Type" Setting

The RFC defining SSH recommends a limit of 20 authentication attempts before closing the connection, which is plenty even in the presence of a dozen keyfiles.

Re: MAc Pro client does not refresh folders

Did you purchase it through the Mac App Store? In that case you may need to grant FileZilla permission to access these directories due to the sandbox all programs obtained through the store are subject to. You can do so over the directory access permissions dialog reachable over the Edit menu.

Re: error messages in the latest version

That said, since I noticed you took the initiative to explore deep into their source code, can you kindly do some PRs to fix those servers? The Problem Reports already exist for all of these. What boggles me is, why can't these server authors create a simple bugfix release just containing a fix for...

Re: Changing Permissions on .htaccess in Windows not working

Windows does not have Posix permissions. If the server is running Windows, permissions may need to be set some other way. Contact your server administrator or server hosting provider for assistance. Consider switching to a server that runs on non-Windows, Windows is not a good operating system to ru...

The binaries are for Debian 9 or compatible.

On other systems you need to compile FZ from source.

Re: Filezilla SFTP keeps using SSL Private Key when it should not?

Random key files aren't used. Key files are used if they have been configured to be used. If you have not configured a key file in FileZilla, check the PuTTY configuration or possibly your system's SSH agent configuration.

Re: Filezilla SFTP keeps using SSL Private Key when it should not?

The SFTP support in FileZilla is based upon PuTTY, it shares some options with it.

Re: multiple ftp servers upload

If it's always the same servers you connect to you can configure FileZilla to restore tabs when opened.

There is no way to automate transfer of files to multiple servers.

Re: FileZilla Command Line for FTP Encryption TYPE

Yes. FileZilla has been designed for interactive use, more command-line arguments would result in it being abused for automated tasks. For automated use consider using a dedicated command-line client.
