To quote a famous person:
Dammit Jim, I'ma doctor, not a driver guru
Creating device drivers for Windows is way beyond my skill, I don't think such a feature will ever be implemented unless someone else does it.

Simple solution: Disable "Show hidden files" in the settings dialog. VxWorks does not support this.

Another day passed and FileZilla can now be compiled under Cygwin and MinGW32.

But why didn't anyone tell me that GCC is so slow?

I definately have too much time. After reading a complete book, several online manuals and some long discussions with other developers, I managed to create the neccessary input files for the GNU autotools. From now on, FileZilla 3 compiles cleanly on Linux and hopefully any other system where wxWind...

It looks like the server does not know how to create directories. It replies with a '502 Command not supported' in response to the MKD kommand.

I've added a quickconnect bar to FileZilla.

Here's a screenshot of the current development version:

Well, it should work, everything looks normal. The only thing that I've noticed is that the server uses AES256-SHA as cipher.
I've access to another server which uses AES256-SHA as cipher and FileZilla doesn't work with it either. Yet I could not find out why it doesn't work.

Almost my first heart attack - or how my monitor failed me

The whole story started so simple: I had been watching Running Man using my TV card (nice movie though with a serious logic error even after several beer) and after that I wanted to check my mailbox. I started Thunderbird and all of a sudden the monitor powered off for a split of a second. After tha...

Today I've added the code for resource and language files. The the resources (layout of dialogs, menus, toolbars etc...) XRC files (XML Resourc files) will be used. For the language files, wxWidgets makes use of the GNU gettext utilities. This makes translation incredibly easy as well as updating th...

Today I've read myself into gettext which can be uses by wxWidgets to write multi-language programs. There's also a nice open-source editor for the language files available called poEdit. Unfortunately the interface looks crappy, guess I'll have to submit a patch to this project as well :D Other tha...

Please post the complete logs since the problem can occur earlier. Please also enable everything on the debug page in the settings dialog of Filezilla.
