Re: 425 Can't open data connection error

I see. Details are incredibly important to diagnose issues. Modified logs can lead to wild goose chases. Please always post complete and unmodified logs obtained via copy&paste.

Could some of these ports be blocked by a firewall or not being forwarded in some NAT router the server sits behind?

Re: 'path is locked' when using multiple simultaneous transfers

This error comes from the server, it does not make sense to me. Try contacting your server administrator or server hosting provider for assistance.

The workaround is to limit FileZilla to transfer no more than one file at a time in the settings.

Re: error messages in the latest version

Jawohlolol ;) Rather desolate situation actually. I've looked a the source code of several of these server products, the way they mis-use direct access to OpenSSL internals due to a lack of proper encapsulation and sane API makes me sad :( Why don't more people use a decent TLS library instead of Op...

Re: 425 Can't open data connection error

Now it's a forward slash in the second log. Did you manually type in the first log or where else does the backslash come from?

Re: error messages in the latest version

Older versions of FileZilla are not supported. We only roll forward.

Re: FileZilla Command Line for FTP Encryption TYPE

This is a server-side problem. Please contact your server administrator or server hosting provider to have the server fixed.

Re: error messages in the latest version

That's a terrible advise. Plain FTP is insecure, no respectable hosting provider would ever make such a suggestion.

Re: 425 Can't open data connection error

That's weird, where is that backslash coming from?

Re: error messages in the latest version

Yes, based on the hostname from your log the hosting provider seems to be responsible for managing this.

Re: error messages in the latest version

When do you get the message about the lost connection? Is it during an active operation or during idle time?

To fix the test warning, the DNS administrator needs to add an AAAA record for the host.

Re: FTP over TLS stopped working (Bug in Client)

I don't think that the problem lies with the server.
Why not?
I have tried connecting with WinSCP and it works without a problem. (FTP connection over TLS)
WinSCP is outdated, it does not even make use of TLS 1.3. Try using any different modern client that uses TLS 1.3

Re: New Install fails

Most likely a faulty firewall or virus scanner is interfering with the offer-enabled installer. Try using the non-offer-enabled installer from the additional download options page.
