Re: failed to retrive directory listings

Your command reply is malformed. Please study RFC 959 in detail. Also, instead of LIST, you should implement support for MLSD as defined in RFC 3659.

Re: Security Requirement Questions

Unless a user explicitly selects an insecure protocol, FileZilla asks for confirmation before using an insecure connection. Files are transferred as-is. FileZilla does not care what is in a file and what happens to it on the destination. To enforce compliance to pointless and arbitrary regulations, ...

Please double-check your login credentials, watch our for character case and leading/trailing whitespace. Also, since you are using a dynamic DNS provider, are you connecting to the right IP address?

Re: Malware

Regarding "the number of AV vendors crying wolf": They all copy each other signatures, a single false-positive from one AV product and an hour later most other products flag it as well. It's fully automated, there is no human interaction involved. It's all machine learning, with all its faults like ...

Re: Uploads all of a sudden at disk read speeds timing out after 20 seconds

What happens if you try a larger timeout value?

Are you using any malicious firewalls or AV products that intentionally break TLS by playing man-in-the-middle?
