Re: FTPES disconnects

My question was more for original poster xeon to see if he has figured out a workaround. botg/boco, I could provide you ftp access to our test server where this is consistently reproducible. Let me know if that works for you. Unfortunately, I don't see any way to work around it on FileZilla. I have...

Re: ECONNABORTED - Connection aborted after longer idle time

I've seen many consumer grade routers do this. Most of them have a very low tcp timeout value.

Haven't seen any software firewalls cause it, but I'm sure there are some that do.

Re: FTPES disconnects

This seems weird, there's no time-based code in the TLS code of FileZilla that could cause this. My first guess would be a problem with the TLS session resuming not working quite as advertised. For clarification, which versions of vsftpd were you testing against? I've tried versions 2.2.2, 2.3.5 an...

Re: FTPES disconnects

I did some more testing today and I'm now able to reproduce it consistently. It seems to happen approximately every 1 hour when transferring a folder full of 600MB files the entire time over FTPES. I have no firewall/antivirus or any 'security' software on my system. I also completely removed my rou...

Re: FTPES disconnects

The error being sporadic could indicate some firewall interfering with the connection on certain octet sequences. For a test, try getting rid of all firewalls or programs with firewall-like functionality. I have no firewall or antivirus on my system, any firewall-like settings are disabled within m...

I'm running Windows 7, so it comes with the one you included, version 2.10.4.

FTPES disconnects

Hello, I am getting seemingly random disconnects when using FTPES with any version of vsftpd. It seems to happen randomly when opening a data connection for a file download. It will close the connection then automatically reconnect and start the transfer again. Here are the relevant logs showing wha...

Re: new errors with vsftpd 3.0.0

I've noticed an issue that occurs seemingly randomly when a user tries to download a file, it will give an error message in the logs then the user appears to get disconnected, automatically reconnected and attempts the transfer again without issue. The odd part is it seems to affect some more than o...

Re: Segmented Downloads - Any Plans?

Hello, I was wondering whether there were any plans to add support for segmented downloading? I love FileZilla but the lack of this feature has forced me to try alternatives... none of which I like! I currently use 10 threads in FileZilla but often don't hit my maximum download speed, whereas I do ...

Re: Windows 7 Compatibility

Hello, I looked through the multiple links hoping to find if a couple of the versions we have deployed at my workplace are Windows 7 compatible. We have the following versions available for install; 2.2.31, 3.1.41, and 3.2.0. Are any, or all, of these versions Windows 7 compatible? Thanks B Bad ide...

OpenSSL's newest stable version (1.0.1b) supports TLSv1.2 along with many TLSv1.2 only ciphers.

That's the bugged GnuTLS version.
