Re: suggestion: make "Confirmation needed" window a Windows standard window

No idea which Windows you use, but I have that feature built in (Windows 7). It's in Mouse properties and called "Snap To - Automatically move the pointer to the default button in a dialog box". That may be the reason Logitech stopped development on the tool (which was for the XP era, I guess). But,...

Re: Wrong local files/folder

They ARE there (as Junctions to the real directories). The difference is that FileZilla will not hide anything like Windows does. Just make the test: Open the directory in Explorer, call Folder options, make sure "Show hidden files, folders and drives" is selected, and make sure that "Hide protected...

1. We allow only the English language here.

2. It looks like you are pirating stuff. You will get no help at all, for that reason.

Right click the queue pane. Make sure that "Action after queue completion" - "Close FileZilla" is not selected.

Re: Site Manager password security

Note that if an attacker indeed gets full access to your machine, your problems are far worse than just lost FileZilla passwords. That's really a worst case scenario. Another note: Please, remember your master password well. FileZilla does not have any recovery backdoor and if you forget the master ...

Re: What information goes in what box?

Another term for the "Hostname" or "Host" is "Server URL". You put the URL/name of the remote server here, as you would do for a website in the browser. If they handed you an IP address in the form a.b.c.d, you can also use this. Username: The FTP account user name. If you forgot, you need to ask yo...

Re: Slow upload speed

3Mbps (megabits/sec) would be 375KBps. That's not enough for any streaming. You mean 3MBps (MegaByte/sec), right. Is that a constant limit of exactly that speed? That's very slow. Is this wired or WiFi? Provided you didn't set any speed limits in FZ Server, check for any overzealous security softwar...

Re: file transfers

The FTP client used by them uses temporary filenames for uploads. The files are uploaded with a temporary filename and then renamed. The final renaming operation requires Delete permission. Check that. Additional cause could be an overzealous "security" software holding the uploaded file open for sc...

Use the search feature (menu Server - Search remote files), enter no search criteria, press Search, and then wait.

Did you repeat the import after unchecking that setting?

The master password should be asked only one time.

Re: Filezilla stalls during upload

The concurrent connections you set in the Site Manager do, of course, only apply to the entries you set it for. The things you set in the global settings apply to all servers combined.

Re: xml sitemanager export from windows starts to ask for password after a single connection after import.

Check the global settings of the Mac machine (Edit - Settings...). On the Interface tab, "Do not save passwords" must not be checked.

Re: How exactly can FileZilla Server help me?

FileZilla Server is an FTP server. Nothing else. 1. Please note that absence of a wire does not mean that you don't have a network. WiFi is still one, just over radio, not over wires. Installing FileZilla Server on one of your Windows PCs allows you to share any of its files and directories with the...
