Re: Time Out

Please test the server on our site https://ftptest.net - use the FTP over TLS Explicit profile. Report the result here.

Re: FileZilla Server not saving settings

Is it possible that you are running software resetting disks back to a defined state after reboot? Other than that, I'm out of ideas.

Re: Some images dont appear on my web page

For the record (see my point 3.): Windows has a case sensitive file system, however, it usually ignores case completely (can be changed in latest Windows 10).

Web servers, on the other hand, usually run on Linux or a similar UNIX-variant, these OS are fully case sensitive and caps matter.

Re: Some images dont appear on my web page

1. Try to re-download the failed images and see, if they still work, then. If they are corrupted, you might have uploaded them as ASCII, but images are binary. 2. What format are these images in? Browsers do not support all formats, it is even different from one browser to the next. 3. Do the paths ...

Re: Time Out

I can easily spot a potential user error, here. You use FileZilla to connect to faithbiblechurch.com but are using Chrome to connect to ftp. faithbiblechurch.com. The latter is a different subdomain and might point to another server. Please, try connecting to ftp. faithbiblechurch.com with FileZilla

Re: Can't find failed transfers

Failed transfers are not retained over FileZilla sessions. Note that in case of crashes, data retention nor integrity is NEVER guaranteed, that's one of the basics of IT. Directory comparison does unfortunately not recurse, this is planned AFAIK. Currently, all you could do is re-queue all files, st...

Re: FileZilla Logon

Yes, and that server certificate is clearly expired and thus invalid. It must be renewed.

Please ask them to check the server certificate the FTP server software sends, not the general HTTPS certificate of the web server.

Re: Transfer Speed

Depends. What speed should it be? - Note that ISPs advertise in Mib/s (Megabits/sec). You need to divide by 8 to get the MiB/s (MegaBytes/s) speed. - Upload speed is usually lower as download speed. - Server or network congestion can greatly lower speeds. The slowest link in the chain determines the...

Re: connection

We are only speaking English, here.

If you lost your login data, it's best to ask your hosting support. Alternatively, if you still have the data from the old disk, you can import the old filezilla.xml. It's in the directory that used to be ~/.config/filezilla or %APPDATA%\FileZilla (Windows).

Command: APPE 358.pac

Response: 500 command not recognized
The server does not support resuming, or is incorrectly configured (it doesn't recognize the APPE command). You might have to delete the old file on the server and start the upload from the beginning.

Re: cannot connect to a certain sever

Which OS? Windows? IPv6 is included and enabled by default since Vista (2007). There is no need to install it, and things break if you disable it.

IPv6 is slowly replacing the aging IPv4, the hosting company should get their act together and fix problems by going forward, not by going back.
