I have a problem with version 3.44.2.1 (MAC). I am getting a threat pua.osx.installcore.

If I quarantine, FileZilla won't work.

Anyone else have this problem?

MalwareBytes flagged it as malware! Also it acted like malware. It took over my screen and I could not kill it with Process Explorer since it kept reopening itself. So I spent a few hours removing it. I am quite careful about installing ...

... If the host key presented to you does not match the one you got from server support, you might be connecting to a rogue server (e. g. through malware doing redirection or DNS poisoning). In that case, it's advised NOT to connect at all.

False-positives, the offer-enabled installer is safe to use. There's no malware in it and nothing is installed without your consent.
