HI.. I'm new to filezilla and this is my first post on these forums.
I want to be able to access the files on my desktop computer when I'm not at home. ie over the Internet. Can I use filezilla to do this? And what are the steps I need to take in order to accomplish my task?
(I am connected to the internet via a ADSL router.)

Install Filezilla Server on the home PC. Set up a user account and give it access to the directories/files. Configure network details according to Network Configuration.
On the PC not at home install and use Filezilla to connect to the home PC. Hostname is the external IP of the ADSL router. If you want a URL use a service like DynDNS or No-Ip.
