I have a Server 2003 machine with 2 separate FTP sites set up on it. The first uses standard port 21. The second I have modified to use port 23333. Users can log in fine to the standard site but when attempting to log into the second non-standard site I get an error "Cannot log in; home directory inaccessible". I have added the new port to the firewall settings on both server and client. I have double checked to be sure I've specified the correct port on both ends. I have attempted using just the user name and also the domain/user name. Same result in either case. It appears as though the cleint is connecting and the user name and password are OK but somehow the permissions to the home directory are not right. I've gone as far as adding my test user to the administrator group trying to determine if it is a permissions thing but I still can't get past this error.
Any help will be appreciated.

Re: Cannot log in; home directory inaccessible
FTP Servers usually run as service. And services normally run under the SYSTEM (LocalSystem) account. You must check the permissions of SYSTEM, not of your user.

Make sure the ports on your router are also forwarded for port 23333.
