 Post subject: Automate File Transfer

Reading through your forum - I see many users have the same question: "Can Filezilla file transfer be automated or saved as a "template" of some sort."

Also see the same answer several times.."Filezilla can't be automated, you need to use a commandline client for that."

What is "commandline client"?

Comandline FTP clients have no graphical user interface (GUI), they are controlled by the commandline (Windows) or terminal (Linux).

Windows: Press <WIN>+<R>, type 'cmd' and press <RETURN>. VoilĂ . Like the good old DOS times.

Linux: You're surrounded by commandlines in Linux, no need to search it.
