Make sure the Open verb is associated with your desired editor.

Re: edit php files???
hmmm . . .
for some reason *.php was associated with MicroSoftPictureIt
I had already noted that (and fixed it) before I made my 1st post)
I just rechecked it and PictureIt had REASSIGNED itself as the default for php
no matter what I do - it keeps grabbing it as its own !
so, I tried the settings INSIDE filezilla - but I cannot cipher the method to make
notepad open php
can you walk me through it please

did some checking online
seems like my problem is NOT unique . . . it is MS !
only way to fix is regedit and/or uninstall the program
so, , , perhaps FileZilla can over ride it
again - plz walk me thru
I will keep trying
