FileZilla WIKI has been hacked?

#1 Post by Rygel » 2010-09-27 04:02

I was just checking out the FZ Wiki pages and came across this page which appears to have hacked (and probably malicious) links entered into to the article linked at

Code: Select all

Nothing has been hacked. Remember, hackers are the good guys.

Being a publicly editable wiki, it has just been spambotted.

That's kind of confusing when you take into consideration that I've seen hundreds of web sites get defaced and their pages replaced with messages like "Hacked by..." or "h4x0rd by..." and then the name of a "hacker club" taking the credit.

I think you're right man. I think those with real skills and experience don't utilize either to do harm. It's just too bad that it seems to be the starting point for them.
