How to find a file - is there a search function?
Hi, I'm sure this is possible, but how can I find a file quickly in FileZilla without having to open all folders?
Re: How to find a file - is there a search function?
Menu Server - Search remote files, or simply press F3. There's no search for local files in FZ.

Thank you, this works exactly as I hoped!

I am such a fool, I've been using Filezilla for over a year and just assumed there was no "search" function. This is a Godsend. Thank you for this post from 8 years ago, lol.

Oh, it gets better. Click on a file list (to make it active) and press CTRL+F. Then, you can filter even big file lists in an instant.
