I have both an internal and an external IP address so that I have remote access over the internet but still have access to the resources offered by our LAN. The Internal IP must be first in the list to access the local resources. This IP setup results in Filezilla Server generating a "Can't open data connection" error even if I set the IP Filezilla uses. I have tried other FTP Server software such as WFTPD Pro and they work okay. My only idea to fix the problem now is to edit the NAT in the router but I don't really want to do that.
