Problme on downloading folders/files

#1 Post by satimis » 2014-04-20 11:16

Hi all,

VM - Linux Mint 16 64bit
Virtualizer - Oracle VirtualBox

I have been running FileZilla transferring folders and files from Godaddy to VM and vice versa on local server for sometimes without problem. Unfornately today I encountered problem on download following folders including files;

Folders
/var/www/bakery (VM aborted during download files)
/var/www/cuisine (VM aborted during download files)
/var/www/kitchen (succeeded)

I ran FileZila as root. I tried almost the whole day without a solution. Please help.

Thanks

Rgds

Well, if the VM aborted it rather looks like a bug in Virtualbox. Did you attempt to download directly to VirtualBox Shared Folders? These are a bit unstable in general, you are advised to create true network shares in this case.
No support requests over PM! You will NOT get any reply!!!

Hi,

Thanks for your advice.

I download the files direct on the Host first. Then copied them to VM. It fixed my problem
