Quick connect list: how to delete specific entries?

#1 Post by fabian » 2015-04-11 20:06

Just a brief question:
Is there any way to delete specific entries from the quick connect list?
The del key is not working and right-click neither.
And I do not want to delete the whole list - only some entries.
Any trick available?

Best

Apart from editing the recentservers.xml file in the config directory directly, no.

Thanks for the quick response.
Where can I find the config folder?
It is not in my installation folder and neither can I locate it via the system search.

Thanks for your help

Depends on your OS.

*NIX and Mac: ~/.config/filezilla

Win: %APPDATA%\FileZilla

I sure wish FZ would incorporate an easier way to do this!! Right clicking on an entry and having delete as an option, for example, would be great. It would also be good to have an option to make clearing Quick Connect permanent so that when you clear and add a new entry the old stuff you don't want would not reappear. It is all too easy to connect to the wrong site and quickly get in trouble when you are in a hurry.

It is not meant to be a site storage at all. Precise management and site storage, that's what Site Manager is for.

It's already like this, clearing QuickConnect history is permanent.
