I'll use this thread for similar issue.
This is the log when working with one of my hosts. It's a linux shared hosting. I'm using FTPES.
Code: Select all
...
Command: MLSD
Response: 150 Accepted data connection
Error: Server sent unsorted certificate chain in violation of the TLS specifications
Response: 226-Options: -a -l
Response: 226 76 matches total
Status: Directory listing of "/public_html" successful
Status: Disconnected from server
I connect successfuly etc. But is this error severe enough to bother my provider with this? is my connection still secure after this error?
Thanks.

Yes, you should bother your hosting provider with this. Wrongly ordered certificate chains cause interoperability issues.
The chain order violation is not a security issue per-se. However negligence to provide a properly ordered chain may indicate further negligence in other, security-relevant areas.

Thanks.
The problem is sorted. My hosting company was very fast at resolving this and now it's Ok.
