Just purchased Filezilla pro

Just purchased Filezilla pro and it will not connect to my desktop or documents. Have file sharing enabled but nothing. Any ideas why it will not connect?

Did you purchase it from Apple's App Store? Make sure to grant FileZilla access to all the directories you want to access in the directory access permissions dialog you can reach via the Edit item in the main menu.

Yes I did.
So I would just grant access through filezilla software then?
