How to vew images in site of list

Hi,
Is it possible to see objects as images in spite of list of items ?

No, the underlying protocol does not support thumbnails. It would need to download each and every image in order to display the thumbnail.

Thanks, but i think that my question was bad explain.

The screen is in two parts. Each contains a list of files (php or doc or others) and images (.jpg).
Is it possible to see theese images in order to see their names ?

The small image previews in file lists are called "thumbnails". And no, FTP doesn't support that. The details displayed in FileZilla is all that's transferred when fetching a file list.

FTP is a very old protocol. Direct access to remote files doesn't exist. So, if you wanted to have an image preview in the list, the client would need to download each and every image file in order to extract the preview information.

I ask this question because I saw this function in SMART FTPbut it's not free...

I used that client when it was still free. Never used that option, though.

I didn't say that it it is impossible. But, without native support from the underlying protocol, displaying thumbnails is a resource hogging and very expensive operation. Depending on file size and the connection speed to the server, it could be also extremely time consuming.

Since FileZilla is optimized for speed, the chance for such a feature is nil. It simply goes against FileZilla's philosophy.
