Newbie- file won't upload back to server

I am a first time user of an ftp. It's taken me days to figure everything out, and succesfully download files from my webpage.
Once I did and made my changes, I watched multiple you tube videos to be sure that I uploaded back to the webpage the right way.
Unfortunately, something didn't work. I can see the file I want on the right side, but it never makes it to the web page.

My confusion lies with right clicking and then download, I can see that it has a successful transfer, and then it is sitting in that very bottom window.
How does it get to the webpage from there? I feel like I am missing something, but I have been searching everywhere, but I just don't understand what it is I am missing.
