Automatic download of updated files

Hi,

I use Filezilla to amend and update files of my web site.

I would like to find a tool to do the following :
- every time I open Filezilla and I open the connection to my web site, I would like to launch a comparison between the files on the server with the local files.
- when server files have been updated, I would like such updated files are downloaded on my computer

I must say that I have several thousands files on my web site.

Would it be possible to do the above task with Filezilla, or with any Filezilla plugins or with another application ?

No, FileZilla cannot do automated tasks. Likewise, there is no plugin API at all, so Plugins are out.

So, you need to use (an)other application(s).
