How to test if our Clients FTP Servers are TLS 1.2

We currently are sending files to our many clients who have various FTP servers installed on their end - we want to move to TLS 1.2 - is there a utility, or an easy way in FileZilla client to connect to these servers with credentials and confirm whether their FTP servers can support TLS 1.2 ? Apologies I am not fluent in FTP technical knowledge - some of our clients use FTP and some use SFTP.
