Every time I start Filezilla, my desktop icons all turn black.

The only way I have found to restore them is to restart the computer (Windows 10).

Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it?

Damaged operating system files? Outdated graphics drivers? Faulty third-party shell extension?

No other program on my computer does this. Only Filezilla.

So I assume Filezilla is the culprit.

Normal programs cannot affect how Explorer renders icons without there being a fault in the system itself. FileZilla is merely the trigger, not the culprit.
