Can't connect like I normally do

Can't connect like I normally do

Woke up this morning and can't connect like I normally do. "Not connected to any server"
Get an error message.
Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error: Could not connect to server

There is no info in the top bar Host, username, password, port.
I will be forever grateful if someone out there can help me.

What does it say when you try to connect?

Looks like some firewall is interfering with the connection.

hmm..interesting and thanks you so much for helping. It's amazing there are good people out there. I'll do the same when I can.

Do you think the firewall is on my computer, at my ISP or perhaps somewhere else?

Also, oh man I am on vacation so could the firewall have anything to do with working from a different internet connection? If so, I'm a total idiot.

It could either be on your computer or something your ISP is doing.

If you're traveling with the computer you're normally using it's likely a firewall operated by the ISP you are currently using.
